The story was... can I design a mobile app that is for the financial or science or healthcare industry. I chose to design a new mobile bank app because viewing our banking options or investing options should be available on our smartphones. Also the navigaiton should be intuitive and [not make the user think].
(The solution started with... what sections are really necessary for a banking app.) UX research performed [20-25 hours] on about 5 banking apps that were (user-friendly, simple design, simple flow, and loaded fast) for an analysis of modern bank apps. This study helped know what sections to exclude and include for a modern/ modular mobile application.
From past experience I have designed Login sections but I still rolled up the sleeves and studied current trends. [Some apps included Face ID or thumb print or PIN.] For a secure Login on this banking app, I included the [2-Step Verification]. Usually code is sent as a text to your phone or users can choose for it to be sent to their email. (*Note, the secure login must be intuitive for the user.) Footer includes quick-links to products, transactions and accounts. Sections included are [alerts or notifications, assests, accounts, profile and contact]. This is a work-in-progress.
