The Challenge

The story was... remember it must be easy to use for doctors, nurses, admin and patients. I started this web-based app with collaboration sessions with team managers and gathered details about this project. This new interface would allow transfer of invaluable information. They wanted a web-based application that was clean, modern and mainly their focus [very user-freindly] User Interface (UI) and for the users to have a good and satisfied user experience.

The Solution

(*Note this is a portal.) It provides better Telehealth for Physicians in 6 states that can now provide knowledge or the help patients can receive almost immediately instead of a few days. After clear thoughts/studying the wireframes I started designing custom prototypes. (This involved many white board sessions, and questions.) We fine tuned these prototypes multiple times for a better end product. *Then we had a small challenge of adjusting this dated SharePoint site. We collaborated closely together. Myself a UX-UI Designer and two .NET Developers. I helped provide the much needed CSS for the responsiveness to fit on all devices. This responsive portal helps thousands of doctors collaborate better in the surrounding (6) states of Utah and ability to upload invaluable videos, documents, and comments. I was involved with some testing (usability tests by doctors). (*Web-based app is helping with patient procedures and surgeries.)
